Mallam Nuhu Bamali is a patriotic, diplomatic and the most important person in terms of development for the benefits of modern part of the northern Nigeria.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali is a civil servant Magajin Garin Zazzau, Mallam Nuhu Bamalli CFR (1917–2001) Magajin Garin Zazzau, Mallam Nuhu Bamalli CFR, the son of Yero and he is the last born and he is the grandson of Mallam Musa, Mai Tutoci a first king Fulani Fulani in the notable kingdom of Zazzau. 

Who is Mallam Nuhu Bamali?

Mallam Nuhu Bamali was born in the year 1917,he is among the people that played a vital role and a famous person in terms of politics, diplomatic and the Hausa traditional rulers where he combine both Islamic and western education.

His Early educational Background.

Mallam Nuhu Bamalli starts his normal life like his fellow Fulanis of his time where he first start with learning how to read the glorious Qur’an.

He enters elementary School  Zaria in the year 1924, and after 4 years he proceeded to Middle school Zaria in the year 1928 to 1930.

And in the year 1930, he become among the 4 people who are selected from Middle school to go and further their studies at Katsina Higher College, which at that time is among of the best secondary school, which later on changed to Barewa College.

He studied at Barewa College from 1930 1935, where he has the admission number of 213. It’s on that time he involved in the list of the most important youths, whose currently becomes the leaders of the Country.

His first public service and Contribution towards the Development of Education in the Country.

In the year 1936, Mallam Nuhu Bamali starts his public service in Zaria Native Authority (NA), and then  proceeded to Northern Literature Bureau, where he also moved to Truth Corporation.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali has worked as a public servant for the period of 17 years, where he hold the position of Chief Editor and book Publisher under the leadership of Dr East, a one white man.

His colleagues includes many prominent people and leaders like:

1.Mallam Abubakar Imam

2.Dangaladima John Tafida

3.Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki

4.Mallam Naibi Wali

Frankly speaking, Mallam Nuhu Bamali plays very important roles in the laws interpretation and a translator from Hausa to English language and from English language to Hausa language for easy understanding of speech by government officials

His Publishings.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali published the most important books like:

1.Bala and Babiya, the book of environmental sanitation which is used by primary school students in the year 1940.

2.Karanta Ka Rubuta, The book means read and write.

3.He also translate The Nigerian constitution of 1979 to Hausa language.

He translate prominent history Books.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali translate many prominent books like:

1.History and investigation of River Kwara written by  Mungo Park.

2.Salatin Pasha (Abdulkadir)

He also correct the publishing of books written by his uncle, Emir Aliyu Dansidi of Zazzau and many more books.

His involvement into politics and the Development of the Nation.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali participate into politics in the year 1953, where he contest in federal house of representatives, that represents Zaria and Lere  federal Constituency were his stars keep being shining.

In the year 1958, he became a Senator. For the saying of some political analyst John Paden, Mallam Nuhu Bamalli is the one that set a logic toward the contesting of Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardaunan Sakkwato) in the party of NPC.

The Position He Holds.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali hold the position of National Organizing Secretary of NPC and became the Senator from 1958-1960.

His Diplomatic Ideologies.

The diplomatic ideologies of Mallam Nuhu Bamali starts on first October, 1960, the day that Nigeria became Independent, Mallam Nuhu Bamali appointed as state minister for foreign Affairs where as Sir Abubakar Tafawa Bale as prime minister of the federation.

His speech shortly after he resume to office, “My major success is representing Nigeria in United Nations in the year 1961 where he depend the country on their interest in making Adamawa and Taraba as the part of Nigeria where he challenge Cameron government and defeat them.

Because of his meritorious service, he gained the title of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) in the year 1965, together with Dr. Teslim Elias.

His Efforts in Establishing Aeroplane for the preparation of Pilgrimage to Holy land, Makkah.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali put more effort in setting up field and aeroplane in order to give chance to Nigerian citizens to go to Holy land of Makkah to perform pilgrimage, this foresight and effort was made to ease the people that trekked as a result they can lose their properties and their lives

After Overthrowing of Government and Traditional work.

After Overthrowing of Government and traditional work, by Major General Agunyi Ironsi, Mallam Nuhu Bamali appointed as the Ambassador of Nigeria to Pakistan but he refused to accept the appointment.

In the era of Yakubu Gowon, Mallam Nuhu Bamali served as the Executive Commissioner of North Central State, where he is in charge of farming and Agriculture.

And later on, he became the Executive Chairman of Kaduna local authority, where he brings many achievements, and he brings back the Sallah festival and celebration.

His Families and Death.

Mallam Nuhu Bamali died on Monday 5th March, 2001.

He left 10 children and 14 grandchildren, among his children, there was:

1.Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamali CFR, the Ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand and  Myanmar, and now the current Emir of Zazzau

2.Alhaji Mu’azu Nuhu Bamali former staff of CBN, and now  Magajin Garin Zazzau

3.Ambassador Mansur Nuhu Bamali a Diplomatic elite

His Entitlement by Kaduna State Government.

The Kaduna state government honored Mallam Nuhu Bamali by renaming the Kaduna polytechnic to Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, and also, many schools and roads caricature his name.
